Curated Setup Guides

The same table can host a poker tournament on Friday, a Blackjack salon on Saturday, and a board-game campaign on Sunday. These guides show you how to set each one up.

Texas Hold’em night (up to 8 players)
Use the Texas Hold’em mat. With the 500-piece chip set you have 150 white ($1), 200 red ($5), 100 green ($25) and 50 black ($100).

  • Starting stacks: give each player 15 white, 20 red, 10 green and 5 black. That is 50 chips and $865 each, and it leaves a small reserve in the case for re-buys.
  • Dealer button: draw a card from the deck, high card deals first, and pass the button clockwise each hand.
  • Blinds: use the schedule below.

Suggested blind schedule (20-minute levels)

Level Small blind Big blind
1 $5 $10
2 $10 $20
3 $25 $50
4 $50 $100
5 $100 $200
6 $200 $400

Set a timer on your phone, and adjust the pace to your group. Shorter levels make a quicker night.

Blackjack salon (7 players plus a dealer)

  • Switch to the Blackjack mat. The dealer sits at the straight side, players around the curve.
  • Agree the table rules before the first hand, for example whether the dealer stands on all 17s, as printed on the mat.
  • Use the white and red chips for everyday bets and keep the green and black for big nights.

Board-game campaign (4 to 8 players)

  • Take the mat off for a smooth surface, or leave it on for a soft, quiet base that keeps dice from clattering.
  • The oval shape keeps everyone within reach of the board. Use the cup holders for drinks so nothing spills on the game.

Cocktail lounge (a crowd of up to 10)

  • Remove the mat entirely for a clean black presentation table, or keep it on as a soft surface for drinks and plates.
  • Set out a charcuterie board in the middle, and leave glasses at the rail.
